What We Do
We help good organizations work better.
770 Consulting is a small, hands-on practice that works with mission-based organizations and boards during moments of growth, transition, and recalibration. We meet organizations where they are, prioritizing highly-custom, sustainable strategy with clear implementation paths, because what good is another list of big ideas that you’ll never have the time or resources to implement?
How We Work
770 Consulting accepts a limited number of remote and in-person engagements. We work with small and mid-sized mission-driven organizations that are approaching or undergoing moments of substantial transformation.
We come in when something at an organization has shifted (or when you can tell something is off but no one has said it out loud yet). 770 Consulting gets clear on the problem, whether it’s been named or is still being defined. From there, we look at root causes, break the work into manageable parts, and help the organization focus on what actually needs to be addressed to move things forward.
Our Story
Rebecca Monro and Casey Rady first met while working 770 miles apart in Philadelphia and Chicago. During our time as colleagues at a national storytelling nonprofit, we quickly learned that there are things more important than being in the same place: we share a deep dedication to mission-driven work, a commitment to being transparent and holding ourselves and each other accountable, and a sense of humor that helps keep us sane.
Perhaps most importantly, we both see times of change as great opportunities. Between the two of us, if you can name a big change - leadership transitions, mission changes, board expansions, rebrands - and we’ve probably not only experienced it, but helped lead an organization successfully through it. We both embrace the opportunity to do this kind of transformative work, knowing that while it can be painful, it can also be joyful, creative, and critical to the ongoing growth of an organization.
Now we’ve built the resource we used to wish we had when doing deep change work: an effective, strategic thought partner that honors an organization’s culture without sacrificing honesty or sugarcoating issues.
